How many cars can we bring?

The driveway holds 6 to 8 vehicles. For a group of 29 that usually means carpooling or one or two large SUVs. Street parking is not something we can promise.

No pets, including service-animal look-alikes with no paperwork. We know this rules out some families, and we would rather say it plainly now than disappoint you at the door.

Built for the trip where everyone comes

Aquamare is a 4,000-square-foot home on three floors in Miramar Beach, built in 2017 and laid out for groups of 12 to 29. Five king suites give the parents and grandparents real doors and real bathrooms. Two bunk rooms on the top floor sleep 16 and sit next to the game loft, so the kids get a wing of their own. In between: a gourmet kitchen with a granite island, a dining table sized for the whole crowd, and a 32-by-16-foot heated saltwater pool out back.

Miramar Beach sits just east of Destin on Florida's Emerald Coast, where the water is a shade of green you will want to photograph every morning. The Miramar Beach Regional Access, the largest public beach access in the area, is a five- to six-minute walk from the front porch. Pompano Joe's is seven. Golf, the outlets, and Sandestin are each a few minutes by car, and the airport is about 35. Most weeks here fall into the same rhythm: pool, beach, grill, repeat.

The whole group gathers here first. The kitchen's granite island and bar stools look across an open living room to the dining area, and the beverage center with its own ice maker keeps the coolers full all week. Slide the doors open and you are on the pool patio; the covered front porch is the spot for coffee before the rest of the house wakes up.

Three king suites share this level with a lounge, so couples and grandparents get a floor of their own away from the bunk-room energy upstairs. Two of the suites open onto a covered balcony over the pool. The laundry room is here too, which matters more than you would think by day four with 29 people.

Third floor, The kids' floor, and the best view

Two bunk rooms with full-over-full bunks sleep up to 16 between them, and each room has its own bath. In the middle is the game loft: foosball, a 60-game arcade cocktail table, board games, a queen sleeper, and a smart TV. The balcony up here faces the Gulf, which makes it the sunset spot. King Suite 5 is on this floor too, for whichever adult volunteers to chaperone.

A pool that works in March

The private saltwater pool measures 32 by 16 feet, long enough for a cannonball contest at one end and a quiet float at the other. A covered patio runs alongside it with loungers, the cedar pergola is lit with LEDs for dinner after dark, and the gas grill is a few steps from the kitchen door. From October 1 to May 1 you can add pool heat for the whole stay, which is why guests who come in March still swim every day.

Beautiful home, Monica was amazing to work with. She was very prompt with answering any questions we had. Easy access to the beach, and had plenty of room for our Class of 2026 senior family trip. We had 26 people with 15 of those being teenagers and they loved the upstairs living area!! Would highly recommend and would stay here again as we visit the area every summer.

Five minutes to the sand, 35 to the airport

Aquamare is in Miramar Beach, Florida, on the Emerald Coast just east of Destin. The largest public beach access in the area is a five- to six-minute walk, and the house beach wagon carries the chairs. Dinner on the sand at Pompano Joe's is seven minutes on foot. By car, Choctawhatchee Bay, Emerald Bay Golf Club, and the Silver Sands outlets are all under five minutes; Destin Commons, The Track, and the water park are 10 to 15. We share the exact address after booking.

Walk times are from the front door at an easy pace with a loaded beach wagon. Drive times assume normal traffic.

Our family of 15 stayed here and it was just the right size for us all to be able to have many game nights and family dinners. The pool was great to just be able to hang out and relax in after a day at the beach. The host was super attentive and responsive with any needs. House was fully stocked and even had games and beach gear for us to use. Highly recommend this house and host!

Reunion of 24

We stayed here for our family reunion of 24. Monica was excellent to communicate with and the home itself was just as described. Having seven large king beds was great for our group. The home itself is gorgeous. The pool area is fabulous and is where we spent a lot of our time. It was a quick and easy walk to Miramar beach access and beach restaurants. We all had the trip of a lifetime. Don't hesitate to book. It's a blast!

This property is great! It fit our family of 23 perfect. The owner is super accommodating! I even walked to the beach with my 5 year old, not far at all. We rented a golf cart to carry all of the beach items. The house is beautiful and is as advertised.

House was more well stocked than most places I've stayed and the pool was great. The kids spent hours in this pool. Walking distance to the beach and Pompano Joe's. Everything about this property was great! Just as described. The pool was warm, large and saltwater which was so preferred over chlorine. The beds were all comfy, luxurious bathrooms and loved the plush towels! The kids LOVED the Pac-Man game on the 3rd floor! We would definitely return!!

Questions we hear before every booking

Can the pool be heated?

Yes. Pool heat is available from October 1 to May 1 for $50 per day or $300 per week plus tax, and it is purchased for the whole stay rather than day by day. The pool is saltwater, so it is gentler on skin and swimsuits than chlorine. From May through September the Florida sun does the job on its own.

Is there a minimum stay?

Peak-season bookings are 7 nights minimum; the minimum varies the rest of the year. The Vrbo calendar shows the current rules for any week you are considering.

What are check-in and check-out times?

Check-in is at 4:00 PM and check-out is at 10:00 AM. Entry is keyless; you will receive your door code before arrival, so there is no key handoff to coordinate for 29 people arriving in six cars.

What is the exact bed setup?

Five king beds, one in each king suite. Two bunk rooms on the third floor with full-over-full bunks that sleep up to 16 together, each room with its own bath. Two queen sleeper sofas, one in the second-floor lounge and one in the game loft. Seven full baths and one half bath in total.

Can we host a party or a reunion dinner?

A reunion dinner for your registered guests, yes. Events, parties, and weddings, no. The house has decibel monitoring and quiet hours run from 10 PM to 8 AM; the neighbors live here year-round and we want them to keep liking us. Tampering with the monitors carries a $500 fine.

How do we get to the beach, and where do we park there?

Walk. The Miramar Beach Regional Access is five to six minutes on foot and the beach wagon is yours for the week. The public lot fills by about 9 AM in season, so guests who drive down usually regret it. Some larger groups rent a golf cart for the week to move chairs and coolers.
